    Lenovo ideapad Y510P not power on .

    Hello my friends.

    I have this ideapad Y510P not power on , consumption = 0.027 amp.
    Power sequence Page 67 , all steps are ok until n6 = NO SLP_S3#/
    SLP_S4# / PM_SLP_S5# /SLP_A#.

    Conclusion Faulty PCH or i must verify other voltages ..how to be sure that my issue is PCH.
    Thank you

        The deflection in consumption is indicative of RTC Fault(very likely but may be other reason). So do check RTC requirement thoroughly and not just RTCRST#/SRTCRST#. BATLOW signal checked?? Its required for PCH to function properly.

          Hello my friend , sorry to be late , i take the voltages that you asking for , i think all is normal .

          SM_INTRUDER = RH149 = 2.818v /2.58v ( voltages from 2 pads of resistance )
          PCH_INTVRMEN = RH150 = 2.820v /2.739v ( voltages from 2 pads of resistance )
          PCH_SRTCRST = JME1 = 2.816v
          PCH_SRTCRST = JCMOS2 = 2.815v
          BATLOW = RH246 = 3.317v / 3.314v ( voltages from 2 pads of resistance )

            Hmm... All measurements seems good . Perhaps a dead PCH. maybe others can also advise.

              Ok thank you , have 2 questions :

              1 * You don't have a doubt for Y2 and Y3 !

              2 * RTC section must be check for many label ; how about Asus !

                Re: Lenovo ideapad Y510P not power on .

                I dont doubt Y2/Y3 after observing the consumption on dc supply. Crystal/clock comes much later into play to help generate Vcore. So ruled out.

                RTC-just put these keywords in schematic and check each and every point.
