Yes the exposed wire is properly crimped to the terminal, add more, i just resoldered it. to make sure its not loose.
So it is all good then. No hairline crack of the core, right?
As far as the indicator lights, you should verify that there is Voltage feeding the LED indicator and the LED itself is good.

No definitely no hairline cracks. Instead of replacing. Should i dip it in varnish?

          Your post #19:
Turned on tv, light was there, screen was there, then came a high pitch sound from power supply. I turned off the power, and then theres no standby light anymore.

          Post #21:
Tried that as well. Nothing. Not standby light. Do more troubleshooting as in on the main board or the power board? Any idea how do i short the power supply to turn on the voltages so i can measure them? Theres no PL on on this but theres BL on.

Oh that, now the standby light is there, TV is firing up as usual, voltages are stable as well. No matter how many times u do it, it still works fine. Actually this tv is a bit weird. Every tv starts with standby light right. This tv even though you put to standby before shutting down, and when u on again, it starts straight without going to standby mode. Oh well, thats philips cause i never seen before with any other tv brands.

I just dipped the inductor into a varnish, and dried it for few hours. Havent turn on the tv yet. Hopefully it goes well. Should i dry it for few hours or let it dry till tomorrow?
