Looking for a new rework solder station

I am looking into buying new solder rework stations. Currently we use the Pace MBT350. I am not happy with this station. I have used the Weller WR3000M station for about a week while doing some training. I thought it was pretty nice. But I have seen some mixed reviews on it. What about Hakko, JCB, Metcal… Any suggestions, or advice?

    Thanks,

    Brad

This a small operation. We populate new PCBs. Build prototype PCBs. Do upgrades of boards. Repair PCBs from the field. Need hot air and vacuum.

I have been using a collection of MBT250's, ST115 and a couple of ST45 with a dozen or so Pace hand-pieces. Cant generally fault them other than the pricing I guess, that said all of my Pace equipment was obtained from lab clearances at a substantial saving over new. Other than some of the tips being a little difficult to obtain in the UK I don't find any problems. I do use a hakko fr803 for my larger mass SMD hot air work until such time as I can locate a Pace BGA rework or Pace Thermo at a cost I am willing to pay. At least half of my work is required to meet IPC soldering standards or some of them at any rate.

When I get back to the Lab tomorrow I will put up a more complete list if it is any use to you.

I've heard good things about the hakko fx-951 station, can't speak from personal experience though.
