Can I use a Samsung 4K LCD panel in a 4K TCL TV?

There is a Samsung UN50NU7100 panel being sold in my neck of the woods for cheap ($40). And there are all sorts of broken screen 50" smart tv's available for cheap or free. In fact, someone is giving away a 50" 4K TCL with a crack screen. Since both the un50nu7100 panel and the TCL tv are 4K, can I just put the un50nu7100 panel in the TCL?

Likely not compatible. Though some brands use the same panel, odds of random TVs with same panel are close to zero. If they use the same tcon board, they use the same panel but newer models don't have tcon boards.
