Samsung UA55KU6500 where is panel calibration stored?

    Hi,

Have a storm damaged TV that had a short on the power to IC207 a tiny surface mount near the emmc that still remains after I removed the IC207.

So I got a new mainboard from aliexpress and it all works but I'm wondering if there's a way to transfer calibration data from the old board to the new one or if that's even necessary?
I presume there is some sort of calibration done at the factory??

There are 2 winbond flash ics w25q40cl, w25q80dv and another eeprom 24c512cl.

I tried swapping those to the new board but the TV wouldn't boot. The new board does have a different tuner though.

Does anyone know where the panel calibration data is stored?

    Thanks.

What is the distortion on the screen with the new motherboard?
And what is the part number of the motherboard?

I'm confused. It all works, so what are you trying to achieve?
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

Most likely the new motherboard was for a different panel.

If there was some factory calibration for white balance/colour I was hoping to bring it onto the new board. The set appears to work fine now.

You can do calibration by yourself if that really matters.
Find test images, google "monitor test" or similar.
Check black and white levels, also gradient.
If you see any tint, then you can proceed with calibration, otherwise use just basic settings.
See if you can find 10-point option in the menu. Put gradient image, then tweak the settings a little bit to remove any tint across the image.
All other settings are pretty straightforward. I am normally turning off all noise reductions and reduce sharpness almost to the minimum

              Thanks.

I'm suspecting there must be different software in the emmc that didn't agree with what was in the old flash roms.
