The cap is probably ruined by that, I'm very surprised it didn't vent or blow the fuse.

So I need to pull it and check ESR and capacitance or just replace it?

Decided to check the Vizio light on the front. It is steady Orange where I had no light before. Must be some progress. However, there are no backlights or nothing changes when I push the power button. At this time all the boards are connected to each other.

Ok Now you have the DC standby voltage of 170Vdc, since when you turn the power switch of the TV and the voltage did not go up to 400Vdc, it can mean two things: It is not getting the PS_ON from the Main board or the PFC IC circuits are not working. I will need you to get the P/N of the PFC IC and the SMPS IC so we check the VCC pins.

@TOM, the cap should be OK, since the Didoe is put in backward, the diode never conducts. You can see the diagram I made.
Killian, you may want to recheck all the parts you have installed, just to be sure.

Ok the part # for the PF IC is LTA100 over PQU18 (could not find a datasheet under either number. I will check DigiKey and Mouser to see if I get a hit on either number.

Part # for SMPS IC is: L6599AD

The Cap is fine, if you look at the diagram, when you put in that Diode backward, the diode was never turn on, it was in reverse bias mode. you are OK, no need to change that cap.

Anyway whilst looking I did find what appeared to be two broken traces. it may be the picture or shadow but please can you check where marked in attached.

If you keep the board oriented in the direction of the picture and look at C608 in the upper left of the board. Go to Buds redline of the picture and look above the number 4 that he placed on the picture. The second location is on the far middle right of the board next to a large black arrow at D331 also look at the scratch across the black arrow to see if that could be a problem. Copper is showing thru.

Attached are the pictures you wanted. Kind of gloomy outside today so I hope this is clear enough.
On the Inverter Connector picture Pin one is at the top.

On the Main Board Connector Pin one is at the bottom.

OK, picture#3 post 54, CN101 Pin 11 is PS_ON PIN, please check the voltage onthat pin, it should be around 3VDC or higher when TV is switched on.

The repairs look ok and the scratch is not a problem. Its getting late here now, Im off to bed. If you get a chance check out the trace damage if there is any, by doing an ohms test between joints along the trace.

It is 0.0V using common to ground pin on that connector and also to the ground screw by the AC Input.

OK, you do not have the PS_ON signal from the main baord when you trun on the TV, that is why the PFC and the 12/24 Vdc power supply do not turn on. So we need to find out where the fault is on the main board.
