What should I do next? I don't see conventional VDOs on the mainboard to check.
Since the replacement power supply acts the same way as the original board, I assume that it's not the power source is the problem.
I don't understand why there is no voltage at the connector(only 4.7V stby).
Special order mainboard at partstore is $155.

I got frustrated because sometimes I had voltages and sometimes were all gone.
Hopefully they will take it back.

With the original board back in the TV, I have measured the voltages before the feedback kicks in.
This is what I'm getting:

5-----SGND-------= 0
6-----SGND-------= 0
7-----SGND-------= 0

9-----AC-DET-----= 3.12V
10----PS-ON------= 3.03V
11----BU5V-------= 5.017V
12----PNL-POW---= 0.12V
So, the mainboard it's OK too?
When I turn on the TV there is a very-very tiny buzz.
Can I measure the LED transformer outputs? They should be like 90V or more?

On your main board there is eprom (chip finish with 04) on the backside of the board You have to erase it (blank it).Inside this chip is store a lot errors . you can find this chip on picture on post 129 on the bottom .I had 52 " sharp same blinking code .After erase this
chip ,tv is working again .Don't forget to hit factory settings. Hope this helps

You have to desolder this chip,erase it with eprom programmer and soldered back.You can use brand new chip too.

Does this chip also store firmware? I am trying to understand how it works if it is blank.

In this particular board you have tree eproms .First with firmware is on top side on the board (left side on heat sink on post 129 ic3401 if i see correct from picture) Second for settings (channels , brightness ...) it is 64kbit .
Third is it 4kbit .That chip you have to erase.For programmer go to google and search for ( 24c04 programmer )

Darn, they have to make it so complicated. Why can't they put a simple clear button to clear out the garbage from the chip, but then they cannot sell more TV, I guess.

Because then you need a microcontroller or some processor to erase the chip - which adds expense - and TVs are really slim margin so where-ever cost can be cut...

Hi tibimakai, i check today and that chip is IC2004 and is it 24c02 not 24c04.You can find it on the back on the board in red circle .That was in my tv before i erased.Hope this helps.
