Default Dell 2407 Ghosting and Color Problems

Hey, after 2 years of use my dell 24" model 2407WFP start show me ghosting problem, so i purchased a new monitor and stop using the old one. A few months ago i start using the old one and after a few uses now the colors are very very bad.

I open it and checked caps, and looks all OK.

Is possible to start fail the chip FLI5962?

Some updates... looks like the problem of the color are when are combined, for example i tried blue, red, green backgrounds and looks OK. but when are combined looks very bad!

When dark background and white letters display very bad too.

Tried to rework the chip with the hot station and(40seconds at 400° nothing changed)

Changing the board willl fix that issues?

Yes it looks like a T-CON board problem. Main board should be fine. You already found that out by now, as a new main gives the same pictures.

Seems the common gamma buffer chip problem, write here the marking of the little chips of more than 8 pins (seems are 2).. or check them for datasheet, if them are multi buffers, check that them are not programmable ics, if them are you have to change tcon, if not you can change only the chip..

here is the solution

if the panel is an AU Optronics the tcon model is M240Uw01 - 05M16-1d

you can replace that board or try to repair it replacing this ics: As15-f

Pics attached

I've seen such a behavior on a Philips monitor, because of a voltage regulator feeding the control IC/microprocessor/ on the control board. Check for this. It could be a quick fix.
