    Sony KD60-X690E

I have backlight on this set as well as audio, but no video. You can see the light level change on the panel when remote menu button as well as volume up and down are pushed. I have 12.5 volts to both input circuits of the Tcon..main cpu on the Tcon is warm to the touch.
I did the Tcon test by removing the ribbon cables one at a time. Attached are the results.

    Is this a bad panel?

    TIA

Try re-seating the ribbon cables from the tcon to the panel. If no difference pull bezel off to get to the lower driver board and look for corrosion or shorted caps. It looks like a bad panel.

I cleaned and reseated/swapped ribbon cables and sockets. My suspicion is one of the driver/buffer boards is shot which means the panel.
