    question for spacer turbox tv

hello everyone i have this tv and it uses 4 spacers as in the photo which hold the reflection sheet and on which sit the 4 light guide sheets
the problem is that two of them broke on the edge resulting in an unevenness in the height at which the light guides sit
My question is these spaceships does anyone know what their purpose is?
is to protect the screen? why do not bright spots appear?
can I take them out completely or cut the other two to the same height all?
    thanks in advance

they keep the sheet from sitting right on the leds and burning the sheet, hopefully you can source some replacements, they are really easy to break, I broke a few, very easy to do, they also get brittle with age.

      very nice sir
because I can not find and now the sheets are sitting crooked and half the picture is darker than the other
I think this has created this issue
      If I cut the other two normal pieces to the same height as the broken ones I will have some issues from your experience;
      type bright spot or else?
however, the sheets will not sit on the ledges and with the new height

However, a salesman who unfortunately did not have them anymore told me that it is to protect the screen from small children not to push it and that if I want I can take it out completely
I just asked for sure why the TV is 49 inches and is a bit difficult to open

I think the salesman misunderstood, they hold the reflector sheet in place, so they are necessary.

would just rather have an experienced technician tell me that to make sure I do not want to experiment
so please if anyone has come to the same position as me to answer me if there is a problem if I remove the spacers completely or if I shorten them all to be the same height

Don't cut them down or remove them, they hold the screen at the correct distance from the LEDs to get a uniform light. They also ensure the LCD stays flat. I've used alternatives salvaged from broken screens to replace damaged ones. Hot glue to stick down.

thank you so much for the reply
so now because i put them with different height I have half the picture dark and half light I hope the panel has not been damaged
I think because I have thrown the broken pieces to heat the existing piece on the edge to pass a very thin wire and stick it with a strong acrylic glue for sure and cover the wire with white heated spaghetti
                    do you agree?

Yes, it might leave a shadow or dark spot but using wire should work.
You could also cut some triangles from acrylic sheet.

If the tips are broken, try slipping a piece of plastic drinking straw over the tip and cutting it to the correct length.

I decided to get M3 metallic screws with thread and washers to be held in the sheet metal of tv
                          the only problem is that I do not remember the exact length and in addition because they are black and they look like shadows if I spray paint them white I think I will not have a problem right;

                            Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

AOC CQ27G2U/BK - in need of data sheets
                            by David Stroe
I am trying to repair my monitor that shows image but the backlight is not turning on. I think either the power supply is not working properly or the LED strip is failing, which seems unlikely (the whole strip is off).

I really need help in finding the data sheets for this monitor's boards. The data sheets I need are for the following boards:

                            Power Supply: 715GA907-P03-000-001S and 715GA721-P01-000-0H4K
                            Main Board: 715G9500-M0C-B00-005K
                            T-CON Board: 19Y_270_EU3MQ_SR_V02_HF

If someone could please provide any of these data sheets, it would be awesome....

Can you clean the internal sheets of a tv? I have a 58-inch TV and I don't know if it's worth cleaning the sheets. I have seen that it has dirt on the sheets and the leds are blown. I don't know if they look good when you clean the sheets. Thanks in advance.

                            60LN5600 white reflective sheet
                            by lfhlaw
So I had to replace the LED lights on this TV and that worked out nicely. But the White reflector sheet that helps to diffuse the led lights evenly was glued into the back chassis which had to be removed to replace the LEDs.

Placing the white reflector sheet caused it to not sit evenly - causing weird diffusing when TV was all put together. Picture is still decent, but now there are dark and light spots due to the white reflector sheet not sitting against the back chassis.

Anyone have thoughts on replacement white reflector? or do I just scavenge broken TVs for...

I'm posting this here since there does not seem to be a more fitting category.

                            The Device
The Gigaset DA810A is a landline telephone with an LCD screen, an answering machine and integrated telephone book. I have the version for the European (i.e. German) market.
It has two separate modules that can operate independently of each other: One is the basic telephony part that always works and is powered by the DC voltage coming through the telephone wire. It relies the TEA1110A telephone transmission and dialler chip for that.
The 'smart' part of the phone with the answering...
