Re: Agilent power supply
That is a keeper, it is not cheap stuff. You should download the user/service manual.

Re: Agilent power supply
I don't have one, but the HP power supplies are held in very high regard by eevblog members. Dave did a video on it.

If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.
We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.
Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

Re: Agilent power supply
You can use it to power up the main board and check the current draw, and to find out if it is sending the PS_ON, BL_ON, etc without the power supply board (unless the main board needs the AC OK or other error feedback signals).Never stop learning

It is easy to provide too much voltage or current if you don't know what you are doing and ruin the main board with too much of either.--- begin sig file ---
