    Samsung un60d8000yf - worth diagnosing?

Neighbor's kid got it to fix up and never did. No power cord. Can't tell me what's wrong with it.

I have average troubleshooting (with help) and sdering skills.

    Not worth it, right?

No. Which I assume is what you want to hear.
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

I have a power cord for my ancient Samsung HP-T5044 50" Plasma. What are the chances it would work?

            About 50/50
LOL, you're on a forum that gives help to people trying to fix their electronics expecting us to come to reenforce the decision you've already made to junk the TV.
