HP 17-cd0606ng no Windows or Linux Boot, exept idle=poll Boot-Parameter

Hello,

this is a very strange Problem:

Notebook hang instantly on Boot. BIOS is accesable.
Windows: instant after showing "loading circle", even Windows Boot Stick hang instant (even without installed SSD/NVME )
Linux: instantly (if Linux Boot in leagacy Mode with log messages: Machine Check exception after 0.25 sec)

i have tried:
- only one RAM Stick, another working RAM, both RAM channel
- BIOS Flash to newest Version F.50, BIOS Reset
- Memtest86 hang instant at Test 2
- HP UEFI Diagnostic wont find any Errors
- Error is persistent no matter conect/disconect internal Battery, Powerbrick or SSD/NVME
- internal Voltages 12V, 5V, 3,3V, 1,2V RAM and CPU are OK

The only Way to Boot is Linux Boot Parameter idle=poll

If i boot with this Linux Parameter, the Machine is running rock solid.

If i understand this parameter correctly, all internal power saving functions of the CPU are deactivated. I think that the CPU may be defective.
The Error occured after some forced Shutdowns because the Cooling System was clogged.

Anyone an Idea?

CPU: i5-9300H
RAM: 2x8GB DDR4 Samsung SODIMM
Mainboard: FPC70 LA-H472P

what does linux verbose boot show without idle=poll arg?

try reset NVRAM as well

I only found a description for a BIOS Reset and a EC Reset (disconect Power Supply an press Power for x Seconds), not for NVRAM Reset.

I'm sorry, did you find a solution?
I have the same problem, I think CPU is not good.
