This power supply is pretty prone to failure.
Usually leading to unsteady output voltages.
From a quick look at the forum there seem to be a few who have experienced this fault.


Luckily the fix is usually quick simple and cost effective to repair.

The fault is caused by DM871
A SK34 DIODE.

Hello Hamie,

Many thanks for sharing this information, you saved me from great amount of troubleshooting!

Before the diode replacement the television "bootlooped" (shown Smart TV over and over), so I thought it is going to be a software issue.

Now the device works, however backlight seems to be blinking a bit, sot there is going to be some further investigation.

What about backlight blinking-flashing???
You fix it??
