LN46C530 Black Screen - CN802 unplugged still no backlight

My friend just gave me his Samsung 46" TV, he said he went to turn it on one day and there was nothing but the startup tone. Me, being a newbie to this stuff followed some basic direction on the forums because I'd like to give it to my son for his Xbox so he isn't on my TV all the time. Unplugging CN802 doesn't enable the backlight as it should, TV is still dark, the TV has a black screen (no dim light, nothing). With CN802 plugged in I get the startup tone but still no backlight, also the red led on the front flashes 5 times. It is only an educated guess but should I assume the power supply is bad and not powering up the backlights properly? I also do not get that defining "click" of a relay when I turn the TV on, just the tones. I looked at the capacitors and they don't appear bad, they aren't leaking or bulging but that doesn't mean they are bad I am told. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You start a new thread in the TV section, and make sure to up load good clear pictures of the whole back side of the TV so we can see how all the boards are connected together.
What is the power supply board P/N? BN44-?????
