I mentioned I worked with SPI , meaning I did something similar ( SPI replaced UART)

Quite a few versions of UART modules in AliExpress... All very cheap.
Some with buck conv. 5V to 3V , LEDs to see activity, some within a USB cable ..
But what worries me is compatibility and drivers.

Regarding the plan : if Android wants Factory Reset because it can not load, If I set the "Autostart bit" and it shuts down- wouldn't it have the same buttons board driver issue ?

* I want to buy a programmer that is really useful for many ICs. Comments ?

spi have nothing to do with uart, to be safe and sure you can buy a ch341a that is also eprom programmer, start with that, then get another when needs grows up.. next could be rt809f or tl866ii+, bye..
