Samsung TV HG46EB690QB No picture, only backlight when disconnected mainboard

I came across a Samsung tv that does not seem to start up. When i plug it in nothing happens except that the red led turns on. But when i disconnect the mainboard, the backlight turns on and immediately turns back off when i connect the mb again.

I have tried to disconnect one, none and both cable(s) from the Tcon to the screen but it makes no differens. The PSU seems to work, but when the mb is connected one of the 5V cycles high and low.

Anyone with inputs?

If you have also disconnected t-con, then most likely a mainboard.
