    Techwood 65AO6USB Power cycling

    In power cycling mode.

Powers on by itself when switched on at the mains socket.
Backlights come on, standby light flashes 26 times then shuts off and cycles again.

No sounds whatsoever i.e boot melody etc...

Swapped power board for one I had lying around, same result. So doubt power board the issue unless I have a faulty spare board too but voltages are present and correct to the main board.

Backlights, an array of 11 strips, 10 x 7led and 1 x 8led. Led tester shows 106v on each side, which sounds about right for half the leds (39). So doubt leds are the issue.

Same result regardless of whether the panel is connected or not. Also same when t-con disconnected, just power cycles. With either side of the panel disconnected that side of the screen is just white. There is 12v both sides of the tcon fuse.

    PSU : 17IPS55
    Main : 17MB130P
    T-con : V15 65 UHD TM120 Ver0.9 (6870C-0548A)
    Panel : VES650QNTL-2D-U11

Is there firmware available to try on USB? or suggestions please.
    Thanks

You should check backlight voltages at power supply. LED testers are not a reliable test.
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

Yh thanks, did foget to say that theres 122v at the led outputs and 12v on the returns.

Used a fw on usb and it did briefly show "updating firmware - please wait' but didnt like it and bombed out, so back to power cycling as before.

ok so have fw loaded and tv up and running.

Is there an easy way to change the start up logo from Toshiba to techwood?

haven't messed with logos much, maybe you can do something like this if there's no easier way, its in hindi but easy enough to follow thru the visual: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UZwaKgs2ubY

Well the first time the .bin file was still zipped as a .gz file which I hadnt realised. So 2nd attempt with it unzipped it worked 1st time.
