I tried to use HPUnlocker v1, but my attempt was unsuccessful. I compared the hex and realized that the unlocker did not work correctly, there were only a few bytes of difference. I used the HPUnlocker v1 again (move HPUnlocker.exe to c:\) and there were already several thousand differences, and this attempt was successful, there is no password!

Yes, you need to buy a programmer device to read and save bios from bios chip on laptop mainboard. Post that file on the forum, someone will unlock it for you then use your programmer to write the unlocked file back into the bios chip.

You have not made a good backup.Its essential that the backup is good,use different software. You will find some alternative software names here: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=103526 (NeoProgrammer, Colibri, AsProgrammer, Flashrom) .When you do get a good backup see post #12, all the tools are available on the forum to unlock the bios yourself.

Still bad.The compressed backup would be in the megabytes MB ,not KB. I guess you`re using a clip ? .Use alternative software as mentioned, AsProgrammer, NeoProgrammer
