Need to identify transistor on Chimei M220Z1-L03

    Hi all.

I have a burned out transistor on the integral t-com board of a Chimei TFT panel. The panel is a M220Z1-L03 and the board is labelled M$35-D024790. Since the component is burned out I can't read any ID on it. It is marked Q4 on the board.

Any chance someone can ID this or direct me to a schematic? I googled all over the place, but could find nothing.

Would also appreciate any views on the likelihood of having success by just replacing this transistor.

    Thanks!

FP5139 is a boost converter, so that burnt out is the power MOSFET.

Do the serch for application circuits to see if some of them will give the spec for the MOSFET.

@budm. Thanks very much for pointing me in the direction of the FP5139.

I ran Google searches for boost control and totem-pole/push-pull gate driver circuits using similar components, but came up with nothing that had MOSFET specs in that range. My electronics skills are too limited to be able to extrapolate from what I found and come up with appropriate specs.

probably nothing too fancy, n channel Mosfet 30v or 40v, 2-3 or so amps rated. just make sure the gate drive circuit isn't damaged. check source and drain to gate. if its shorted, check the whole gate drive.

          Thanks @CapLeaker.

I managed to find the attached schematic that seems to apply, but many of the labels are illegible. Posting here in case it helps others.

Could be that the MOSFET is AP2306AGN-HF which is no longer produced. I just ordered some others having similar specs to try - PMV37EN2R, PMV28ENEAR, A03424.

            any N-channel 3~5 amp mosfet should work, AP2304GN-HF, AO3404
            I found this...

yeah, as rj and i said before... its nothing fancy at all. you shouldn't have any problem finding a substitute and get that to work again.

I just checked a panel I have and it has a sot23-3 marked NAT3 for that transistor, and another panel with it marked 106W
There are similar circuits that use a SOT-89-3L (CJA9452) mosfet
