KDK Wall Fan - no power

    Hi,
I received this relatively new KDK wall fan that suddenly stopped working with no power completely. The PCB does not have any obvious burnt components, and the fuse is still good. A quick check found one of the 2 diodes, D1 is shorted both in and off circuit.

The diode marking that shows "V6 1N", and I can't find any info on googling. My questions:
    1) What type of diode is this?
    2) What type of diode can I use to replace this faulty one?
    3) I have many PCBs lying around - can I extract any pair of those working diodes to replace both D1 & D2 on this board?

    Thank you.

It seems to be just a 1 amp diode. Search for "V6 diode"
Search "KDK Wall Fan PCB/ Switch Circuit Board" or "UR404"

I salvaged a pair of similar looking diodes (slight bigger size actually) from a faulty PCB in my drawer, installed them, and viola!!

This is such a wonderful forum, thank you @R_J
