Sorry to bother. How you made it ? Desoldered or used a CH341A-based with clip ? I' ve tried with programmer and soic8 clip but no luck.

I bought a second hand laptop, but now as I'm trying to update the bios, it results in a bios password, which I don't know.

Can anybody help me to fix this, instead of buying a new mainboard?
If yes, what should I do, because I'm also not able to extract the bios, because even then I need to give in a password.

you need an SPI programmer..more information can be found on the internet ..

after you get rid of the password in the bios, you will be able to make changes in the bios ... possibly updates ..
