MOSFET ratings for UPS inverter applications

I did some analysis of the ratings of the output MOSFETs in UPS inverters with a conventional output transformer (modified and pure sinewave, centre tapped and H bridge, 12V/24V/48V) and I have come to the conclusion that the output MOSFETs have a Drain-Source voltage rating of four times the battery voltage and the continuous Drain-Source current per arm is (Transformer rated VA / (Input voltage / 48)) * Current where "Current" is 0.1A for pure sinewave with a centre tapped transformer or 0.25A for a H bridge and for modified sinewave, 0.125A for a centre tapped transformer.
My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.
