Worked.
I mixed both files together. i toke from the backup the first 0x280000 bytes into your file(replace for sure). thanks for sharing the backup file. |

I have this board with a bad IT8586E chip and apparently I need to program the new chip.
Is it the above attached BIOS that I need to program into it or is that for an 8 pin BIOS and I need to find the ROM specifically for the IT8586E? |

In the rev 2 package there is another package with EC in its name. That is meant for IT8586E.
