Any convenient cheap programmer for TV chips ?

Hello all

Everything is in the title, i was doing a tour on Banggood and Ebay to compare programmers, i could see very cheap one, of course not so complete sets, and quite expensive ones full of adapter board and sockets, i don't know if it is interesting ? Most of Samsung and other big brands have their dumps on the net or not so evident ?

I am interested to know what do you use and if this is correct.

I saw some peoples flashing chip onboard soldering some wires on the printed circuit itself !?

I was checking two products especially, but i don't know what do you think about it, i need to inform that i am using only Linux in every of my machines, i don't know if they are compatible. My purpose is to flash some BIOS from TV main-boards and computer motherboards, and the Nands as well too, and some phones and tablet chips too, my activity is so various ... That would be good to be able to extract data from USB sticks.

I am not sure what the VGA cable is used for on this.

As i could see in this link Link to Banggood website to TL866II TL866II is supporting NAND(and perhaps EMMC ?) as well, what is different to the previous link for the same product (I think) which does not claim to support it, unluckily this one is lacking of any adapters.

Be wary, some of the cheaper programmers claim they do NAND but won't do the K9GAG08U0E correctly which Samsung use.

Thank you for this , especially Samsung is fragile concerning ROMs and BIOS, that would be useless, what do you use ? You have some hint about it ?

I have a RT809H a GQ-5X NAND and a CH341A.

Ch341A is a USB stick with a 16 pins socket right ?
None of these 3 ones are doing at same time Nand and small BIOS at same time ? Nand and Emmc always needs specific programmer ?

Sorry my questions may looks silly, but i never handled programmers myself, even if in the casino company i was working on, it was very usual to re flash chips with new software especially for the slots and roulettes ....

Yes, the CH341A is a cheap 16 pin USB stick for doing 24x and 25x eeproms.
The Rt809h will do the same as the CH341A and the GQ-5X NAND was bought to program the Samsung Nand that's in their TVs.

I think, firstly i will concentrate on reprogramming BIOS only, it looks like more regular than Nand flash, anyway at Aswo i can order most of Samsung TV's preprogramed NANDs. Bios too most of the time .... I think , I will take adaptation time on it. My TV's cemetery contains at least 20 TV sets i should reflash and good enough to go after.
