The bios region should be 6MB, something wrong with your bios.

Hi, laptop powers off in 30mins fixed. i tried replacing processors, ram and hdd too but same problem...

Hi,
Herewith my experience with the Dell M4800.
A long time ago someone updated the BIOS with version A23. From that moment the laptop went down after every 30 minutes. According the log of the BIOS it was because of "ASF2 force off". Tried to update the BIOS to version A26, but it didn't work, the BIOS was still version A23. Bought a CH341A EEPROM Programming Module and used the files within post #8. Now the laptop is working fine again. No shutdowns anymore!
