    Samsung Un60F8000 Boot Loop

This set powers up shows logo then displays snow before
powering down and restarting. Controls including remote
have no effect. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Something is failing in the boot up process. it could be the NAND/eMMC or something connected like the wifi card.

Did you open up the TV and inspect the inside of the TV and also try re-seating the cables?
What Voltage testing have you done?
Remove the cable between power supply board and the main board and inspect both end of the cable.
Also attach good clear pictures of the whole backside of the TV showing all the boards.

I can't help you without programmer , remove the wifi & btooth modules, then retry, if nothing changes check psu-to-mainb. connectors for burnings, last option change mainboard.

                            Re: Samsung Un60F8000 Boot Loop

This is something worth doing for any and all ES, F, and H series samsung sets. Disconnect everything from the main board. We are talking about the T-con LVDS ribbon, speakers, IR, bluetooth, wifi everything except the power supply. The only thing connected should be the power supply. PLug it in and see what happens.
Check the backlight to see if it turn on and off every 10 seconds or so as your guide to see if the set still cycles. If it does not cycle anymore, start connecting 1 thing back at a time until you find the culprit. If it still cycles, disconnect the Power supply from the main board and check the backlight. Does the backlight and power supply still turn on and off? If so then we can start to look at your backlight and power supply as the source of the issue. If not then you confirmed your main board is the issue.

If you confirm the main board is the issue it could be hardware or software. If it's hardware then 1 of two things are going to have happened. Either an IC shorted and maybe caught fire, or you have cracked solder joints.
The first is a visual, so do a careful look over each IC component and check for burnt parts. If none are visible, take your multimeter and do random short checks near IC's. Check for shorts near the big IC's as well as Ic's located near inputs such as HDMI, ethernet, or inputs that were used and had other devices connected to them.
If no shorts are found and no burnt components are found visually, heat up the BGA chips under the heatsinks with hot air and see if that makes a difference. If not then you may indeed have a software failure as mentioned in some of the previous posts.

Thanks for the reply. Will do a closer examination of the main board for shorts, set stays
powered up with cable from the mother board disconnected. Set cycles on-off with
motherboard connected to P.S. all other connections removed. Powers up,10 sec then
powers down led flashes 5 times then powers back up.

CSmith sounds like a main board issue. Have you tried applying heat as mentioned in my previous post?
