Default 25B127DSIG programming with TL866CS?

Hi guys
My TL866CS doesn't have this eprom in the list of devices (Minipro v6.85) 25B127DSIG

Possibly because I have an old version of the software? I tend to stick with something until it let's me down.

Can I select some other device or is there a link where I can get an updated version of the software if needed, and not worry about malware etc

I downloaded XGeko pro V8.51 but that does not list this eprom either

I also have a CH341A but never actually used it.

Thanks
Rich

Hi stj
No mate it is 25B127DSIG (see pic)

It's from a Lenovo S145 laptop
According to the schematic the chip should be W25Q128JVSIQ. This is not on the list of supported IC either so I used W25Q128BV

This seems to have worked

I guess it is compatible.

A pirate walks into a bar and orders beer. He has a parrot on his shoulder

The parrot says
pieces of eight pieces of eight pieces of eight pieces of nine pieces of eight...

A guy next to him says 'excuse me but did your parrot just say pieces of nine?'

Oh don't worry about that says the pirate, it must have been a parroty error
