You will have to clean up the diodes with some acetone and then play with your camera or phone by taking photos at different angles to be able to see what markings are on them. Budm can tell us more about the transistor or regulator of whatever it is.

The transistor is an Onsemi PZT2222AT1, Petehall347 is correct about the poor solder connection, I would check all the larger connections for similar poor solder connections. It might be better to post the actual problem you are having.

Yes
That bad solder joint belongs to K1 heater relay.

looked at both boards - the one that heater relay is burnt - solder joints were good. The good board which I installed and ran 2 loads of clothes was bad but it worked liked that for 2 loads. Fixed solder joints - still works ! waiting on PZT2222AT1 and diodes to repair burnt board. want to thank all who replied - didn't see cold solder joint, I'm pretty sure it would have failed in the near future !

ajshoe,

Did you get your whirlpool duet control board fixed with the PZT2222AT1 and diodes?
