    Choosing between 2 desoldering stations

After 25 years of use, my Hakko HK 470 desoldering station starts to get some issues. Time to replace it.

I always loved this station for his excellent capability to desolder multilayer prints. The Wellers and Paces of this world don't do it as well as the Hakko.

Two options: buying again a Hakko, I will consider this company's FR-410. The system seems to be the same as the HK-470, but with some improvements.

Because my soldering station hasn't enough power to do some heavy soldering jobs, I'm in the running for that too.
That's the reason I'm also looking to the JBC DDSE combi-unit.

My question is: does somebody know the comparison between the desolder quality of the good old Hakko compared with the desoldering gun of JBC?

    Thanks!
    Gert
