    Asus ux310uv ddr4 in short

    Asus UX310UV no boardview,
    I replaced 5E-3J RT8248A (visible burnt) but a short remains on the 1.2V DDR4 line.
    This tension also affects some CPU pins.
    I wanted to try to inject a voltage of 1 Volt on the 1.2V line but what amperage? 1 Amper?

    No need to limit the current. It'll no draw a lot of current if it's a 10 ohms short with 1V anyway.

      I forgot to mention that I separated the DDR4 1.2V from RT8248A coil, now I have 10 Ohm on coil and a short on the rest.
      The dubt on amperage regard the line in short

          It is an effect of the photo, no damage from liquid.
          The short is on a ddr4 module, I removed all modules and the short disappeared.
          Now the problem is to find a correct ddr4 replacement, I have a similar asus
          mobo (X541UV) that use samsung K4A8G085WB

          but I don't find exact spec of the ddr4 D9TBH micron , on google appears

          https://www.micron.com/products/dram...t40a1g8we-083e

          but the marking code is diverse or I have a difficult to find it.
          I know that the fastest way is to disable the ram onboard but the owner doesn't want to.

            If the samsung speed and timings match any of the supported memory in the bios it should work .

              The notebook starts, power button works,fan spin,
              ram tension is ok but does not show anything on video.
              battery charge but when notebook is on the battery led blink green two times
              I would try to disable the onboard ram to see if the system works well
              dimm_sel0 -> hight
              dimm_sel1 -> low
              dimm_sel2 -> hight
              my configuration
              dim_sel0 -> low
              dim_sel1 -> low
              dim_sel2 -> low
              it's correct?

                "it's correct?"

                I don`t know,maybe piernov or one of the other members can help. The battery led blinking could be EC problem.

                    The app is FileAlyzer by safer networkng (spybot).

                    Don`t know what you mean by encrypted.Use the hex tab in FileAlyzer and scan for strings .
