How hot is too hot for an HDTV power supply thermistor

My question is a general one, but applies in this case to a Samsung BN44-00342B power supply with a thermistor labeled as NT801S. How hot is too hot?

The TV is working fine and the power consumption is normal (~200-250W). But the thermistor is super hot, measuring around 200F (~100c) or more depending on brightness. The circuit board under it is slightly darkened. But I can't believe this is normal and am wondering if I should replace the thermistor.

It is likely ok. What is the number on the thermistor?

I don't see a number on the side of the thermistor that's visible. The other side is covered by some hard glue that would rather leave alone.

It could be a ntc 5D-15 with a temperature range of -55c ~+200 c. It will get HOT. If the thermistor was bad it would have burnt up and gone open. It is working fine.
