HP DV6 cannot turn on

I need help on this hp dv6 11A39-2
48.4RH08.021, the problem is pressing power button nothing happens,but plugged in the charger lights is present on the charging,I check Cn_PBTN6 pin 5 DB_PWRBTN# there is 3.3v and on U10 kbc PIN 125 there is 3.3v, Ive noticed there is no RSMRST# pin96 on kbc,pressing the power button voltage response 3.3v to 0 then 3.3v but laptop is not spinning, anyone can help on this please

Post any schematics/boardview files if you have them.

Any liquid damage?

If not, post clear close up pix for the logic board near the dcin connector.

Power down and check the resistance to ground on all coils.

i check pc78 pc88 pc84 pc100 for short pc 100 is shorted i will try to replaced if the prob is gone

1) Study page 40 of your posted schematics. Any chance you have the boardview file for this logic board? Please post it if you do.

2) post the voltage readings with your external adapter attached. Check if the power switch is working or not on location 4.

3) With the reported 5 mA current draw from your power supply, your DCIN to logic board is not working. Issue is most likely on page 40 of the schematics.

all that mentioned at page 40 have voltages, i flashed the bios not the amps is drawing 0.003 and when i press the power button it goes to 0.007

have you checked the power jack and the AD_ID circuit

@smdflea pin 5 on the dc in ADP_ID has 0.965v

Ive checked PU9 3v5v chip tps51125 ON PIN 8 VGEG3 has 3.3v on pin16vin has 19v but on pin 23 PGOOD has 0v, I noticed also the two resistor PR68 AND PR69 on PR68 resistance has only 14.5k supposed to be 22k on schematic, on PR69 resistances has only 25.5k supposed to be 32k on schematic, and there is no standby 5v but pressing power button amps draw on bench lab 0.008 on Pr69 other side has 5v but other has 2v only on PR 68 other which ground 0v and other side is 2v only.could this chip or resistor is faulty?

DV6 has a common fault : Graphic...if you have a graphic chip try to converted and see it your problem is solved
