    Macbook Pro 2015 820-4924 Drawing 0.08 amps not Turning On

    Hi gooday guys.i have a Macbook Pro 2015 820-4924 that is drawing 0.08 amps .My friend told me he was trying to change the keyboard and something touched and he heard a spark.But i don't see any visible signs of corrosion or anything burnt. I have greenlight and orange light on magsafe.Below i have listed the present and missing rails. Hope you guys can maybe lead me on the right track thanks.

    PPBUS_G3H = 12.57V
    PPBUS S5 HS COMPUTING = 12.57V
    PPBUS S5 HS OTHER5V = 12.57V
    PPBUS_S5_HS_OTHER3V3 = 12.57V
    PP3V42 G3H = 3.42V
    PPVRTC G3H = 0V
    PP5V S5 = 5V
    PP5V S4 = 0V
    PP5V S3 = 0V
    PP5V_S0 = 0V

    PP3V3_S5 = 3.3V

    Okay so now while checking the rails for short i left out PPVRTC G3H of U1900. Checking it now on Pin 1 is showing me short and beeping to ground.In diode mode it's reading 0.005V .There is a cap C1910 connected to pin 1 and it's beeping both sides. I am going to remove it and see if that is the culprit.And why PPVRTC G3H is shorted.Will report back if it made any difference.

    First, remove the keyboard and trackpad to eliminate them from this puzzle.

    Then,

    1) Check the power rails on U1900. Pin 1 of this part creates the PPVRTC_G3H rail. Is it hot or any liquid damage ? This part may be defective.

    2) Check U7501, rail PP5V_S4 - voltage reading @ L7520, pin # 1 ?

    3) Check the U7501, pin 4 = EN ( P5VS4RS3_EN ) - voltage reading ?

      Hi mon2 here are the resutls.
      voltage reading @ L7520, pin # 1 =0V
      U7501, pin 4 = EN ( P5VS4RS3_EN ) = 0V

        Well i ended up removing U1900 and pin 1 pad and the caps were still shorted.So removed all the caps on the line.there was about 4 of them.And their pads were still shorted.So at this point i have reached a dead ed and don't know why PPVRTC G3H is still shorted to ground.there are only 4 resistors left on the line .And well am sure you guys might agree resistors don't get shorted right ? So it seems like the PCH is toast that is the only conclusion i can come too.Pin 1 of resistors goes too PPVRTC_G3_PCH ..and that goes directly into the PCH .So can you guys confirm for me yes it is indeed a dead PCH? thanks

            Just when i was about to go back into it .I decided to clean the little thermal paste off the CPU and noticed this below.First time i was able to literally see inside the PCH. lol Anyway we were able to find a replacement board for the customer on ebay for a reasonable price. So we will replace it with a used logic board and i will keep this board as a donor .Thanks for the input guys. Sorry i didn't notice this first. Apologies for wasting some of you all time .
