        OP you are lucky it did not arc and make a big black mess. Those Rifa safety capacitors crack and short out with age, causing equipment damage and bonfires. Never use them, I don't know why Kemet keeps selling the PME271 series etc. The paper insulation inside is unique but nothing special.

        Replace it with any other safety cap that fits.

              why sweden?
              you can get good panasonic replacements from RS in the u.k.

              postage/handling wont be fun though.
              CPC has lower minimum order rules - maybe cpc has some.

                    Is it an X capacitor or a Y capacitor. IIRC, Rifa made a .022uF Y capacitor in the PME271 series.
