    Grundig 32 LXW 82-8600 DL

The problem is with starting the TV.
When it receives power it does not go into standby mode (from which it could be woke up to show the program).
I have to switch power button on and off for cca 30-50 times and at some point it goes into standby mode in which I can use my remote to start watching the TV. If it loses power than I have to go throught the whole process again.
Can somebody explain the standard process of switching the TV on?
Just to try to understand where the problem could be.

there are setting saved at SPI called "last state" ON or OFF if ON mean if the TV was in STB and plugged out from wall socket. it will come back to STB after plug in wall socket.
if this "last state" OFF. always the set will turn on when it plugged to wall socket

this setting could be find at normal setting menu... or some can be set only at service menu..

if in service menu or at setting menu and there no effect at all after change ON /OFF... mean the SPI fault need new one to programmed and replaced or there Jammed need to have hard reset from service menu to initial the SPI to new condition.

      Ok... thank you.
I'll try to see if changing: options 0, standby does the trick.
      If not than Adjustments, reset...
      I'll report back.

You likely have a bad/weak capacitor in the power supply, likely a small electrolytic in the startup or vcc circuit. These small caps usually loo ok and not bulged but can be bad.
Post some pictures of the boards and power supply.
Search the forum for "LXW 82-8600" there are two threads on this.

Locate & replace C2056 and see if fixes your power supply, if it does, let us know.

I've got a different power board.
I replied to a previous post with photos (as I should have and not open a new thread).
