imitation rubycons?

I was looking at my quantex's old motherboard, and the capacitors on it are Hitano, but some of the larger capacitors on the motherboard and sound card are "rubicon"

Now is it rubycon, or rubicon?

Rubycon: there is a chinese cap manifacturer named RuLycon, the logo is almost identical but their caps are crap so beware of them.
BTW, Rubicon is the river Caesar crossed in 49 BC: are they water caps?

I looked at it again today, they actually say ro bi con,

and the capacitors on the video card are anus , its actually supposed to be uranus, but the ur got cut off the top. you can see it on the bottom though.

I was joking, but Uranus is a brand I never heard.

I think they're crap for motherboard caps and maybe for psu use too: Wincaps are used in Creative audio cards and sometimes fail even there

G-Luxon is junk.
Jamicon (I think) is actually an OEM - They buy from others and rebrand. - Quality varies.
I dunno Wincap. Never seen one of theirs other than in pics.

BTW: Hitano is good brand. Not common on Mobos but a good brand.

Thats where I saw the wincaps, on a Xfi-soundblaster gamer edition.

So hitano is a good brand? thats good, probalby why that quantex's biostar motherboard is still working fine after 15 years.

Hitano is good Japanese brand.
They don't have many sizes with ESR low enough for motherboards. (Just not in their product range.) So they don't come up in here that much.
Do see them in routers, modems, screens, add-in cards, and such.

Yeah , one dumptruck load or whatever and you are set for life. You buy a house and you park your new dumptruck there for future purchases of fake or 4th rate caps after scoring on the 2nd rate ones , and you have ended up billing somebody else for your own bullcap.

This is where we are headed trusting that we live in the same world as big time thieves in any industry. When really , we are just a payee listening to someone "claim" our rights as consumers and citizens of a country that would be subjected to any such "DUMPING".

It's Rubycon (Y) , in an old Kenwood KT-6500 Tuner (only) I have. But the board is so small (1/3) of box only that it really isn't worth ravaging for it's splendor. The caps are not vented or crossed in any way , large or small.
The entire board is made up of Rubycon's and Enya's grouped together , nothing else. Venting ? What Venting? of what? WHY?

Hitano are Japanese caps? Oh dear.... I just ditched a whole box of 1500uf 10V and 3300uf 10V Hitano caps thinking they were a crap brand.

No, I was mistaken.
I know they are a good brand so I thought Japan based.
Looks like they are based in Taiwan.
They don't make any electrolytics that are low ESR though.
