OEM Seasonics have crap caps in them. You want a retail one.

    I'd sooner get this one:

Sure it's still got Teapo's in it, but at least it's priced appropriately. I've used them in customer builds and they seem to hold up fine.

      What about Antec's Earthwatts series?

It's probably fine, but I got off the Antec train with the Smartpower series.

That should work fine, and have quality caps. Assuming you get the appropriate wattage, you really can't go wrong with retail Seasonic's.

What Asctech means, RETAIL models that is boxed with all the pretty graphics on it and with a good warranty and manual etc. Not the white boxes or loose PSU and no manual (that what OEM is) and lesser warranty.

Yes, to clarify, I mean the OEM ones come with OST and Teapo capacitors, while the retail boxed ones such as the S12, S12-2, and M12 come with qualtiy Japanese units.

                It's real easy.

If it says "retail" at the end of the name, it's a retail unit. If it says "OEM" at the end of the name, it's OEM.

I have an OEM Seasonic 650w that Newegg no longer carries, that I got before I found out that their OEM ones use undesirable caps. It worked ok for a couple weeks, then I recapped it as a preventative measure. It now has Panasonic caps, and is still working great.
