Title says it. I've had no luck finding so far and would rather have the manual or at least schematics for this dumpster find before I even bother testing it.
They don't appear to have a manual/schematic. I saw some other models service manuals free online and was being hopeful.
I know I'm getting ahead of myself, sorry. I've been out of the game with electronics project with illness for some time.
I don't know what the TV does yet, it is drying cuz it's been out by a dumpster and got rained on. I'll give it a day or two to dry out, it didn't get soaked in a heavy rain and was in a box so I think that'll be long enough. Have no remote either.
Problem is it does not turn on. The power indicator lights when plugged it. I'll be opening it up as soon as I can get enough space for it in my cramped and cluttered work space.
Reviving this as my kid decided to take this project on with me so she got the back off. Here is a pic of the power board. Does not power on. The fuse is ok. Nothing appears fried. I have no schematic. Where to start troubleshooting?
I would remove the back of the set and post pictures of the circuit boards and one of how they all interconnect. Nice sharp focused pictures would be a good help. Use the "Go Advanced" to add the pictures.
Make sure everyone knows that there's DEADLY voltage on the hot/primary side of the powerboard, can try test number 3 below, try to do it just as instructed.
