    Hp EliteBook 850 G2 shuts down at boot

    Hi,
    got this device to fix and can't find any solution.
    As soon as power is connected (Adapter or Battery, doesn't matter) the notebook turns on by itself and shows the HP logo. as soon as it would start to boot, it immediately shuts off and it's not possible to turn on again without disconnecting the power source.
    It STAYS ON when I access BIOS Setup and behaves normal there, but as soon as I save and exit, same story.

    I already took out the CMOS Battery for reset and HP USB BIOS recovery, what worked but had no effect. The mainboard is standalone, nothing else connected.

    Any idea?

    I think you will need to flash with external eprom programmer.

      Does it look like any liquids got spilled on the board?

        Well, customer said it was a liquid damage once, but got fixed a around a year ago. I can't see anything left from that.

            this dump displays manufacturing programming mode set 2 of 10. could you fix this. i am super grateful for your help

              Why post bios in troubleshooting section?? There is a dedicated subforum for bios.
