Short to ground

This laptop I received recently and its short to ground (DAOZE6MB6E0)
once pq 116 removed short with pq 33 was vanished.
but pq 35 pin 1 2 3 short to ground 4 5 6 7 8 is ok please tell any expert how to find it .

below component removed and checked but still short remains.

pc 79 ,pc 80, pr 6, pr 7, pq 34 , pq 43 , pq 2 , pu 7.

I have been using a method explained here starting at post #25, https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showth...t=46808&page=2
I find shorted capacitors quickly if it is a faulty capacitor.
You need to have a multimeter with 10uv resolution for this method to work and understand the relationship between voltage, current and resistance.
Whatever you do or are told to do, do not apply more than 1 volt from an external supply.

EXTRA: Maybe there is a capacitor that isn't shown on the schematic.

Have you tried removing PR116 to narrow down the area of where the short is likely to be?

Thanks for replying . yes I tried..what I mentioned above is a mistake .pq 116 should be pr 116. no luck, I will try as you said and let you know. Thanks for your time.

Thanks bro , got my ignition from your link and found the culprit . its pc 126 .Nearly 15 component were removed . I need proper multimeter for relevant method .without that it can do little bit hard .
