a friend of mine got this Dell latitude E6230 with 8GB mem and 256GB SSD problem is.... default bios display is in external display not in the built-in LCD that is why i need to hit fn +F8 to enable the built in LCD display..
any idea guys..
1. i do bios re-flash to the latest updates..From A11 to A19
2. search for display init in bios with no avail
2. replaced the cmos battery: voltage is 1.9volts
3. use the built-in dell diagnostics for failing parts all remarks is passed
4. disconnect the keyboard and turn on the laptop with no avail..
5. with lcd display enable i able to install windows 10 pro 64bit with ease and fully functional but the moment it reboot.. need again to hit fn+f8 to enable built in lcd display..
any help is greatly appreciated..
