Hi, I work on Computers, and boards at home for some friends, one of my friends was having problems with his GPU, so I took a look at it. It looks like a transistor is blown on it, I'm wondering if it's at all fixable, and if a regular soldering iron would be able to do it, for it's a surface mounted component.
Thank You.
I've tried contacting The vendor, PowerColor, which told me they just slap there name on it and sell it. That I should contact AMD for it's there Tech. I was then told by AMD to contact PowerColor about a Circuit Diagram, I told them, what they said. Then I was told contact one of the distribution people to sign a NDA to get a Diagram? At that point I gave up. I saw this wonderful forum, in hopes someone here might have some advice, or even the diagram for this card.
Thank You - Jacob
