    dell precision t1700

Hi everyone, I have a dell precision t1700 that turns on the fans run, but it does not send any signal to the video, if I remove the memories ... beep .beep.
I assume that the bios is corrupt, someone please had the same problems as me, is my diagnosis correct? can anyone help me to get a bios for this machine?
    Thank you

Remove the CMOS battery first, leave it for a while then put the battery back in, that will reset the CMOS.If it still doesnt boot up take the battery out again and desolder the bios chips, there are 2 on this board, near the RAM slots and SATA connector, they should have part numbers similar to 25Q64FV, 25Q32FV . If you have some Kapton tape or foil put it around the plastic parts so you don`t melt them. Make 2 backups of each chip and compare them to make sure both reads are the same, then post the 8 and 4MB backups here in a zip or rar as an attachment and someone will take a look and repair them.
