![]() Probably won't matter even if you replace the original part. The short is more likely to have caused irreversible damage to the CPU/SoC by sending 20 volt directly instead of stepping down to a smaller voltage (close to 1v). Since you have mentioned BSOD after installing the graphics driver, i assume the PWM in question supplies core voltage to the internal graphic engine of the CPU (Intel HD Graphics). I have Seen this kind of CPU damage caused by shorted Mosfet dozens of time.
