Thank you so much, it worked!

Would you mind telling me how you found the AMI XOR key?
This is the key you would use right? But how do you get it?
      Code:
      e93d920891a1edda8e752944bf7e999272e8dc1e95754e89c3bfa0e55a2b0350bc9665cc1ef1c83
And this is the hash right?
      Code:
      5000006f1a00690000742e006f00003200003000003100003400000000000000000000000000000

Start the topic from beginning and use Google, everything (except the last part) is already explained here.

Oh yeah, the first problem you have is that you cant see the difference between Surface Pro 3 and Surface laptop 3

Cant help you, I have not looked into any surface laptop 3 bios files to know how to unlock them.

Re: Microsoft Surface Pro 3 UEFI password

                  One is released @ 2014, other @ 2019.

Making a dump can be found at youtube. You need SPI programmer.
Hard part is modifying the file.

Hi everyone, I have the same problem. I bought a Surface Pro 3 in Wallapop and the man who belonged it doesn't remember the administrator password of the bios. I've tried everything but nothing works...

                    Can you help me?

                    Thanks in advance!

Are you able to find the password for Surface Pro 4 bios dumps? I'm in need as well.

No, that needs bios modifying (screen removal).

Thanks. From what I've gathered, can you confirm if these are the right steps?

                              1. Remove bios chip
                              2. Flash clean bios to chip with programmer

Uh, no. Remove, read, upload, you will get modified file from me and then you write that.

Did you use windows installer to run fptw? If so, did you use fptw which is located in win64 folder (or whatever your windows installation disk happens to be)?

No, I did not. what I did is ran the tool on the surface with the locked bios since at leats I had access all the way to the desktop. on the other hand, when you mentioned that there will be no need to remove the screen. what did you meant by that? what about the Surface with BitLocker and when there is no way to not even start the Surface is DOS?

Nah, not DOS. Windows install media is the best for surfaces.

Attach install media. Click on restart while holding down shift. This will take you to Windows recovery. Usually you can boot to USB from there. When you boot up to installer, choose language etc and on the next screen do alt+r. Navigate to command prompt from there. Use the correct folder. Win64 I guess.
