what about using solder paste to reflow vram because it is easier than solder balls but it will working perfectly or it will die after short time ? I need your experience thanks |

![]() I think solder paste is easier to work with, since it's essentially many small balls suspended in flux. It sticks easily and the flux helps a lot in making a proper solder bond. You do need to keep in mind that it has less actual solder in it because flux makes up a large part of the volume.
As for longevity, it shouldn't matter if a proper solder bond is formed. Flux helps a lot. |
