    Sony HK5 DA0HK5MB6F0 MBX-269 Rev.F

    Hi everyone,

    I have a problem with this mainboard, original problem was PU101 very hot and no system response, after replacing it with a new one voltages started to appear but no response to power button, replaced EC controller, now after power button press the power led and battery led light up and then turn off and the system doesn't start.
    Bios has been reflashed same symptom, also EC controller was replaced to another new one and same symptom. Battery charges ok.

    Here are some measured values:
    Before Power Button Press:

    EC_WAKE_ON = 0v
    DEEP_EC_EN = 0v
    RTC_RST# = 3v
    RSM_RST#= 0v
    SRTC_RST#= 3V
    PM_BATLOW#= 0v
    S5_ON= 0v
    AC_PRESENT = 3.3v
    PCH_PWROK_EC = 0v
    +3V_WAKE= 0v
    +5V_WAKE= 0v
    +3V_S5= 0v
    +5V_S5= 0v
    15VPCU= 0v
    +3V_SUS= 0v
    +3V_S5_DSW=0v
    DEEP_EN=0v
    SUS_ON=0v

    After Power Button Press:

    EC_WAKE_ON = 3.3v
    DEEP_EC_EN = 3.3v
    RTC_RST# = 3v
    RSM_RST#= 3.3v
    SRTC_RST#= 3V
    PM_BATLOW#= 3.3v
    S5_ON= 3.3v
    AC_PRESENT = 3.3v
    PCH_PWROK_EC = 0v
    +3V_WAKE= 3.3v
    +5V_WAKE= 5v
    +3V_S5= 3.3v
    +5V_S5= 5v
    15VPCU= 14.5v
    +3V_SUS= 0v
    +3V_S5_DSW=3.3v
    DEEP_EN=13.3v
    SUS_ON=0v

    Some other important signal i am missing ?
    From my understanding shouldn't SUS_ON get high to turn on the remaining voltages ? Some signal missing before that can happen ?
    Any tip is appreciated.
    Thx in advance.

    Hi. If you still need a hint with this particular board, you need to program EC with good, not corrupted file. I'm suffering same symptom, currently looking for EC file for it.
    To program it you will need one of those "vertyanov" or "svod" programmers. Available on ebay.Really good investment even as hobby. But remember - choose it wisely.
