    dell 7240 motherboard no power

    Hi friends
    i need help for dell 7240 laptop which motherboard is LA-9431p
    No power issue.
    i have checked for short not found but the PU100 ic is heating up.
    please help

    Is the PQ700 switching +19V ? Is 3/5 ALW ok if not Resistance to GND pl101 102 ?

      Yes at PQ700 19v is ok. but how to check resistance and PL101 PL102

        Put the multimeter in ohms mode and test so 3/5V not Present?

          help, my latitude 7240, after plug adapter cant booting, no display, just power led blinking in 1 x 20 sec and i cant turn off it, i test in 19 and 5,3v is normal, i check bios voltase is normal. i have already flash any bios but not working, any Solution? btw this my Bios Ori.

              Hi same problem ,
              PU100 heating up.
              +DC1_PWR_SRC power showing around 13.5 volts.

              Opened PJP101 showing resistance 23 Ohms

              Opened PJP102 showing resistance 15 Ohms

              Couldn't find any short .
              Anything I am missing
