ANOTHER Vizio M65-C1 No picture Issue

    What happened:
I was watching YoutubeTV on a ROKU streaming device when the screen froze with all sorts of garbled colors, shapes, half legible words, etc. The audio was still streaming. I grabbed the TV remote and turned the TV off. Waited a minute or so and powered back on, no picture. I am not sure about sound as I couldn't navigate anything.

    What I've done:
Performed the flashlight test. I don't see anything.

Measured voltages on the power supply:

    CN9101 -__________OFF____ON
    PIN 1 - +5V/+3.5V__5.1V____5.2
    PIN 3 - +12V -______19V____19.2

    PIN 12 - +24V -________0V____24.0
    PIN 14 - +24V - ________0V____24.0

Also, nothing on the main board side of the ON/OFF. Am I right that the signal for this come from the main board?

From reading posts here (thank you!) I think I know that PIN 15 is the BL ON signal from the main board. Obviously, 0.08 doesn't cut it. So...I found one on eBay and thought it was the obvious solution. Just got it today and it reads the same as above.
My question is: Can anything else be causing this or did I get suckered on eBay? I don't have a problem returning the board but don't want to waste the sellers time and money unless I'm confident I'm in the right.

    Thank you!

Your replacement board is bad as well. ON/OFF comes directly from the processor.

One good thing about buying boards from ebay is the money back guarantee.

Re: ANOTHER Vizio M65-C1 No picture Issue

I purchased a guaranteed working and tested board with the same failure previously. If sellers takes returns, then easy for an unscrupulous buyer to return a bad board and it gets resold.

The seller insisted he tested it personally and asked for pics of my board to confirm I bought the right one. I also sent him pictures of the voltage in standby and powered up. He refunded me immediately.
